A clinic built around more time.
We started Brightwater because we wanted to practice the kind of medicine we would want for our own families.
Our story
Dr. Okafor and Dr. Whitfield trained together and kept saying the same thing: there was never enough time with each patient.
So they opened a small clinic with longer appointments, fewer patients per doctor and a front desk that answers the phone.
Today we look after families across the city, many of them three generations at once.
How we work
Time
Checkups are 30 minutes, not 10. Questions are welcome, all of them.
Continuity
You see the same doctor whenever you can, so they know your story.
Plain language
We explain what we find and what we suggest in words that make sense.
Welcome
Everyone is treated with respect here, whoever they are and whatever brings them in.
Accessibility and languages
The clinic is on one level with step free access, an automatic door, an accessible restroom and seating with arms in the waiting room. Tell us if you need an interpreter, a longer visit or anything else, and we will arrange it.
