About

I'm Joseph. I started designing and building for the web at 17, and nine-plus years later most of that energy goes into products I own and run.

I started out building websites for other people. Somewhere along the way I realised the part I loved most wasn't the launch, it was everything after: watching people use the thing, finding what slowed them down, and making it better the next week.

So I started building my own products. Habit Nova turns habit tracking into a tap of an NFC tag. Handoff Hero writes blog posts in a brand's own voice. Powder Inventory keeps coating shops stocked. I design them, write the code, set up the billing and answer the support email.

I still take on a few websites for founders and local firms, like Arrow Advisors and Liljenquist Law. Running my own products makes me better at those: I know what it takes for a site to actually bring in business.

AI is part of how I work now. I plan and design every product myself, then build with tools like Claude Code as a pair programmer that writes, tests and refactors alongside me. Each project keeps a living guide of its decisions, so the AI works from the real context, and nothing ships until I've reviewed it. The result is senior-level work, delivered faster.
