Overview
Coco spent more than ten years caring for other people's kids before having her own. Coco's Care is where she shares the recipes, baby and toddler products, and outings that actually work, so the site had to feel as warm and fun as she is.
The challenge
“Mom blogs blur together. This one needed a personality you remember after one visit, while still being quick to read on a phone and ready to earn from affiliate picks.”
What I built
- 01
A cartoon "sticker" look: thick ink outlines, hard offset shadows and hand-drawn doodles in hot pink, black and white with periwinkle, butter and mint accents.
- 02
Playful motion with framer-motion (parallax, scroll bands, a pin wall) that switches off for anyone who prefers reduced motion.
- 03
Blog, shop and about pages built to plug into a headless WordPress blog and real affiliate links, with self-hosted fonts and a sitemap from day one.
