Do you need this?

Most websites never need sign in or a database. Adding them means more accounts, more keys and more ways for things to break. Before you start this module, check which of these you really are.

Signs you need accounts: people come back to their own data, you charge a monthly subscription that unlocks features, or you want to limit how much each person can use. Signs you do not: every visitor sees the same pages, and money changes hands once.
