Google Search Console

Prove you own the domain, hand Google your sitemap and see what people searched to find you.

7 min

Search Console is Google telling you how it sees your site: which pages it has found, which searches showed them and how many people clicked. It is free and needs no code. Do this once your domain is live.

What Performance shows. Open Performance then Search results. It lists the queries people typed when your site appeared, the clicks you got, the impressions (how often you showed up) and your average position (1 is the top result). Click Pages to see the same numbers per page.
